BPOE Elk Lodge Pendant Charm Enamel Clock Red Star 14K Ruby Eyes Elk TOOTH.
The tooth has an interesting white curvy line that shows on the front. The brilliant purple, white, and red enamel compliment the gold lettering of the BPOE and clock numbers pointing to the 11 o'clock hour, the hour for toasting all members gone by. Very symbolic use of colors and images! The elk has red (ruby?) eyes and the three dimensional antlers show a buck with 10 tips, representing an peaceful animal that will rise to its own defense when threatened.
Approximate Dimensions: 1 1/8 x 1/2 inch, weight 2.5 grams
Condition is "Used"--please see pictures since items are sold "as is". From my family's collection, this pendant has been soldered at some point. The enamel has worn near the top, over the BPOE letters. The bale does not look to be 14K based on the difference in color from the pendant.
