    Description

Antique 1925 Prohibition Whisky Pint Bottle Prescription Doctor Pharmacy Bar Texas
    Welcome
    &
Thank You for Shopping In the USA!
A great original 1925 Texas Prohibition Prescription: Alcoholic Fluid prescribed: Whiskey...One Pint...Ziv q (every) 12 hrs...for General Debility! Texas was the only State to issue their own prescription during the Prohibition. The script is long and interesting to read! Please see photos!
From the days of Al Capone, flappers and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US!
The whiskey was prescribed for Bula Richards, by Dr. D. V. Davis, on September 30, 1925, and was filled the same day by Pharmacist, Jacob Schrodt, of Griffith's Drug Co, in Terrell, TX.
The prescription measures 6 1/2" x 6 1/4", has light bends, one fold and two heavy paperclip marks on the top border, otherwise, condition is excellent...a great Texas whiskey script!
This is a FANTASTIC piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, restaurant, bar, museum or office! I am happy to answer any questions, please feel free to email and thank you for your interest!
