    Description

    Offering an early American Wooden Shortening Bucket, stenciled with the name "Eugene André" and "Monmouth, ME", also labeled "SHORTENING" with some numbers and other letters that are indistinguishable. This handsome small bucket is cooper-made and sturdy and tight. Obvious signs of use and age, but in beautiful antique condition and quite rare. Measurements are about
    7 5/8" tall, 10" diameter at the mouth and about 7 7/8" diameter at the bottom.
